The Five Pillars of Islam
1. Shahada (Faith)
It’s basically saying the declaration: “There’s no god but Allah, and Muhammad is His messenger.” This is how Muslims show their belief.
2. Salah (Prayer)
Muslims pray five times a day. It’s like their daily check-in and connection with God.
3. Zakat (Charity)
Giving a portion of your income to help people in need. It’s a way to purify your wealth and support the community.
4. Sawm (Fasting)
During the month of Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn till sunset. It’s about self-control and getting closer to God.
5. Hajj (Pilgrimage)
If you’re able, once in your life you go to Mecca to perform a big religious journey. It’s a major spiritual experience.
